Work is booked in, then ticked through each stage at the bench where it happens, on a tablet, rather than typed into a spreadsheet on Friday. The office sees where every job is and what is holding it up, while it is still worth knowing.
Each person sees the part that is theirs and nothing else, and anything needing a second pair of eyes waits on a named sign-off before it moves. One login covers every site, not one per branch. Figures go out clean to whatever accounts or payroll package the business already runs.
The website a customer sees, the admin behind it, and the iPhone or Android app for the people using it inside. One database underneath the three of them, so nothing is entered twice and nothing drifts apart.
